A 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of murder following a deadly stabbing in north London.

Teen Held Over Fatal Seward Street Stabbing

On Tuesday, 27 December, police arrested a 16-year-old male suspect. He remains in custody at a north London police station.

Two Boys Stabbed – One Dies at the Scene

At 11:33pm on Tuesday, 20 December, officers rushed to Seward Street, EC1, after reports of a stabbing. There, they found two 16-year-old boys with stab wounds.

Despite emergency first aid from officers and paramedics, one boy was pronounced dead at the scene. He has been named as Jamaly Samba Baibu. His family is being supported by specialist officers.

The second victim was taken to an east London hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
