Two Brits Among Four Dead in Horror Helicopter Crash Near Seaworld Drive
Two British citizens, Ron and Diane Hughes, aged 65 and 57, tragically died in a helicopter collision in Australia. They were on a visit when their chopper crashed alongside another carrying pilot Ash Jenkinson, 40, and passenger Vanessa Tadros, 36.
Crash Details: Midday Mayhem Over Main Beach
The Queensland Police revealed the crash happened around 2pm near Seaworld Drive, Main Beach. One helicopter was landing while the other took off when the two aircraft “came into contact with each other.”
Despite the crash, the second helicopter managed a safe landing with six people on board.
Casualties and Survivors: Minor Injuries Reported
- Four people, including the two Brits, died in the collision.
- Five passengers from the second helicopter sustained minor injuries.
- Those injured were rushed to Gold Coast University Hospital.
