Police swooped on a drug stash in Ebbsfleet Valley, nabbing a haul of suspected cocaine and cannabis on Monday, January 9.
Major Drug Bust in Kitchen Cupboard
Officers found around 200 grammes of suspected cocaine hidden in a kitchen cupboard. Harry Bishop, 26, from Ackers Drive, was arrested and slapped with two counts of drug possession with intent to supply – covering both cocaine and cannabis.
Co-accused Claire Brown Also Arrested
Claire Brown, 26, living at the same address, was arrested too. She’s been charged with two counts linked to distributing drugs.
Harry Bishop’s Dark Past Catches Up
Harry faces even more trouble. He’s under investigation for a 2022 incident where a vehicle in Medway failed to stop for police, smashing into a police car and a private property in Rochester on April 19. He now faces additional charges for:
- drug possession with intent to supply
- aggravated taking of a motor vehicle without consent
- reckless driving
- criminal damage
Court Dates Set
After appearing at Medway Magistrates’ Court on January 10, Harry was remanded in custody. He will face Maidstone Crown Court on January 17. Claire Brown was released on bail and must return to the same court on February 9.
