Star-Studded Soap Casts Face Off for Charity
Since its March 2022 debut, Bridge of Lies quickly became the BBC’s top new daytime quiz hit in a year. Now, the celeb special swings onto screens at 6.05pm on Saturday 14 January, starring famous faces fighting to win cash for charity.
EastEnders legend Jake Wood Kemp, known for playing tough guy Grant Mitchell and presenting gripping documentaries, will host. Contestants must carefully cross the bridge, stepping only on truths — one false move means falling off and out.
The first episode’s teams are packed with soap royalty. EastEnders’ John Partridge, Coronation Street’s Faye Brookes, Emmerdale’s Natalie Anderson, and Hollyoaks’ Richard Blackwood set aside their rivalries to battle it out as one united squad.
Pop Icons and More: A Celebrity Smorgasbord
Forget the 2000s girlband battles – episode two pairs Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt with Sugababe Amelle Berrabah, Steps’ Claire Richards, and Eternal’s Kéllé Bryan for a “pop icons only” showdown packed with chart-topping talent.
