Eight Vehicles Were Involved In Total, Including Two Hgvs, But Despite Significant Damage, No One Was Seriously Injured

Yesterday afternoon, shortly after 3 p.m., fire crews from High Wycombe, Thame, and Slade Park responded to a major road traffic collision that completely blocked the northbound carriageway just before M40 junction six. Crews responded with South Central Ambulance Service, Thames Valley Police, and Highways England to clear the incident, making the scene safe and assisting ambulance crews with casualty care. Eight vehicles were involved in total, including two HGVs, but despite significant damage, no one was seriously injured. Thames Valley Police took two dogs to the vet for examination due to possible injuries. After about an hour, the carriageway was partially reopened to clear blocked traffic. Driving in wet and icy conditions requires extra concentration, and making sure your vehicle is roadworthy and safe will give you the best chance if the worst happens.
