Thief Busted in Ramsgate After String of Broadstairs Theft Spree
Local cops patrolling Ramsgate Road, Margate, pounced on a suspect in the early hours of Wednesday, January 11, 2023. A quick stop revealed the driver was linked to several thefts in nearby Broadstairs.
Terry Norman Nabbed Over Multi-Store Heists
Terry Norman, 37, of Denbigh Road, Ramsgate, was arrested and charged after being tied to a series of thefts, including:
- Stealing clothes from TKMaxx, Broadstairs on December 24, 2022
- Pinching a £159 TV from Asda on December 29
- Shoplifting food from Tesco on December 17
- Helping himself to £369 worth of clothes at TKMaxx on December 28

Norman was released on conditional bail but must appear at Margate Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, January 14, 2023. Police continue probing the holiday season crime spree.
