Missing Sussex Boy Found Safe After Huge Search Effort
12-Year-Old Vanishes in Shoreham
A frantic search kicked off in Sussex on the evening of January 16 after 12-year-old Richard went missing from Shoreham. He was last seen leaving his home at 7.30pm but disappeared without a trace.
Massive Search Operation Launched
Sussex Police scrambled the Police Helicopter NPAS alongside ground teams. They were joined by the Coastguard, Shoreham RNLI inshore lifeboat, and Sussex Search and Rescue. Together, they scoured the vast Adur area in a coordinated hunt for the missing boy.
Happy Ending: Richard Found Safe
Sussex Police released a heartwarming update: “We are delighted to report 12-year-old Richard, who was missing from Shoreham, has been found safe.”
They added, “Thank you to everyone involved in the search for Richard.”
