Man Fatally Stabbed at Walsall Nightclub – Murder Probe Underway
West Midlands Police have launched a murder investigation after a 29-year-old man was fatally stabbed outside Valesha’s nightclub, locally known as the Colliseum, on Newport Street, Walsall.
Officers rushed to the scene shortly after 5am on 11 March following reports of a stabbing. Despite emergency treatment and being taken to hospital, the man was pronounced dead around 6am.
His family has been informed and are receiving support from specialist officers.

Newport Street remains closed as detectives comb the area for evidence. No arrests have been made so far.
Police are reviewing CCTV footage from inside the club and understand a scuffle broke out before the stabbing.
Detective Inspector Ade George, leading the inquiry, urged anyone who was in the club to come forward, especially if they captured photos or videos. “Our priority is catching those responsible,” he said. “We still need to hear from anyone who saw what happened.”
