Police are in Thompson Close, Ilford, near Ilford Police Station, after calls around 8pm on 13 March to a road traffic collision.
A man sustained leg and facial injuries in a collision with a moped which failed to stop.
The man’s injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
Enquiries to trace the rider of the moped are ongoing.
A crime scene is in place.
