Chaos erupted on Beckenham High Street in the early hours of Saturday as police rushed to break up a violent brawl involving a man spraying liquid from a bottle.

Stabbed in the Stomach During Brawl

At 1.32am on 18 March, police were called to reports of a group fighting. Emergency crews found a man in his early 20s with a stab wound to his stomach. London Ambulance Service" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">London Ambulance Service medics treated him at the scene.

Noxious Spray Leaves Another Injured

Nearby, another man suffered facial injuries from what is believed to be a noxious substance sprayed during the scuffle. He was also treated by paramedics but later arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs. His injuries were not life-threatening, but he was taken to hospital as a precaution.

19-Year-Old Arrested for Assault on Emergency Worker

A 19-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker and causing criminal damage. Both suspects remain in police custody as investigations continue.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

Police set up a crime scene which has now been closed. Anyone with information is urged to call 101 quoting reference Cad 519/18Mar.
