Teen Robbed on High Street by Trio of Teens
At around 2:35pm on Sunday 19 March 2023, a teenage boy was strolling along the High Street near The Brook junction when three other teenage lads sneaked up behind him.
Phone and Change Snatched in Bold Daytime Theft
The victim was threatened before his phone and some spare change were snatched right from under his nose.
15-Year-Old Arrested as Police Hunt Accomplices
The three suspects made off towards Best Street. Police swooped the same day, arresting a 15-year-old boy on suspicion of robbery and assault. He has since been bailed while investigations continue.
Police Plea for Witnesses to Come Forward
Detective Constable Martin Stevens from North Kent CID said: “An investigation is underway into the circumstances and we are urging witnesses or anybody with information to call our appeal line.”
