Late-Night Fight Sparks Police Action
Kent Police rushed to a fast-food joint on King Street just after 2am on Saturday, March 25, following reports of a violent fight.
Earlier that evening, another scuffle had already erupted near Harbour Street, stirring up trouble across Ramsgate.
Four Men Detained – Two Hospitalised
Officers hauled in four men from Ramsgate on the same night. Two needed hospital treatment but were soon released and kept in custody.
Serious Charges Laid
- Finley Goldsmith, 19, of Park Road, faces charges of affray and grievous bodily harm.
- Samuel Giles, 21, of Bradley Road, charged with affray, grievous bodily harm, and possession of an offensive weapon.
- Alfie Mason, 19, from Queensgate Road, charged with affray and grievous bodily harm.
- Jack Bamford, 21, no fixed address, hit with multiple charges including possession of an offensive weapon, grievous bodily harm, and affray.
Bamford Linked to Taxi Driver Assault
On top of other charges, Bamford is also charged with robbery, grievous bodily harm with intent, and carrying a knife in public. This relates to a March 24 incident on Margate Road where a taxi driver was reportedly attacked.
