Horror as female bull breed dog found brutally mutilated and left at PDSA Pet Hospital in Oldbury
Man rushes injured dog to clinic and vanishes without a trace
A female bull breed dog was dumped at the PDSA Pet Hospital in Oldbury, Sandwell, on 29 March by a man claiming she had been hit by a car. He walked off before giving his name, leaving staff stunned.
Dog suffered savage attack – covered in knife wounds and fractures
The RSPCA revealed the dog was covered in deep knife wounds all over her head, body, and legs. She also had multiple fractures and bruises. “This poor dog would have suffered a great deal,” the charity said.
Inspector Boris Lasserre said: “The nature of the wounds shows the horrific mutilation was not post-mortem. Clearly, this savage and prolonged attack led to the dog’s eventual death.”
RSPCA hunting mystery man carrying bloodied canine in sheet
The charity is desperate to find the man who brought the dog in. He is described as black, aged 20-30, wearing black trousers, a black jacket, and a black cap. He carried the wounded dog wrapped in a blood-soaked sheet and a B&M shopping bag on foot.
Inspector Lasserre added: “We want to hear from anyone who was in the area or drivers with dashcam footage. Also, if anyone heard a dog screaming in agony on the morning of 29 March, please come forward.”
The investigation into this brutal animal cruelty is ongoing.
