Motorists travelling along the M20/M26 in Kent found themselves in an unusual situation today as part of the motorway was closed due to cows wandering onto the road.

National Highways confirmed the closure and reported that cows had ventured onto the carriageway. Kent Police were swiftly dispatched to handle the situation and ensure the safety of both the animals and the drivers.
