Hit-and-Run Horror in Rock Ferry: 13-Year-Old Cyclist Left Unconscious

Merseyside Police are hunting a hit-and-run driver who left a 13-year-old cyclist bruised and unconscious after a crash in Rock Ferry.

Incident on New Chester Road

The collision happened around 6.50pm on Monday, September 18, on New Chester Road. The teenage cyclist suffered a concussion and bruising and was rushed to hospital for checks.

Driver Flees Scene, Police Launch Hunt

The driver sped off without stopping, sparking an urgent investigation. Inspector Philip McManus stressed the danger of fleeing and called on witnesses to step forward.

“Thankfully the boy did not suffer serious injuries but was left unconscious after the incident. We urge anyone who saw what happened to come forward,” said Inspector McManus.
