A comprehensive investigation is currently underway following a fail-to-stop collision that has left a teenage boy fighting for his life. The incident occurred on Tuesday, 17 October, at approximately 14:21 BST, in Prince Regent Lane E13.

According to the authorities, a 15-year-old boy was struck by a car while crossing the road. Emergency services were promptly dispatched, and the victim was immediately transported to the hospital, where he remains in a critical condition. The boy’s next of kin have been informed and are receiving support during this distressing time.

Startlingly, the driver of the vehicle involved in the collision failed to stop at the scene. The car in question is believed to be a white Toyota Prius, and the police are actively working to trace it. Road closures have been implemented in the area as part of the ongoing investigation.
