On Monday 13 November, a man gained entry to a house on Highfield Road by offering a gardening quote. Once inside, the occupant’s purse vanished without a trace.
Larky Hughes, 21, from The Spur, Wickham, has been arrested and charged with burglary linked to the incident. He’s been remanded to appear at Southampton Magistrates Court on 25 November 2023.
