Parcel chaos in Poole! Furious locals have forced parcel giant Evri to cut ties with several couriers after a tidal wave of complaints over missing and bungled deliveries.
Missing parcels spark outrage
The troublemakers were drivers from a third-party firm now dropped by Evri. Furious customers bombarded the Facebook group “EVRI Victims Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch” with nightmare delivery tales. Common complaints included parcels marked “delivered” but nowhere to be found, and proof-of-delivery photos showing either pitch-black screens or someone else’s doorstep!
Disaster deliveries pile up
- One woman’s parcel vanished despite being officially “delivered.”
- Another woke up to seven parcels dumped on her doorstep – and only one was actually hers.
MP demands urgent Christmas action
Poole MP Neil Duncan-Jordan wasted no time, firing off a letter to Evri CEO Martijn de Lange. He warned, “I’ve heard from many residents about parcels going missing or being delivered to the wrong address. With Christmas coming up, this has caused real stress as people struggle to replace items or cover the costs in time.”
Evri acts fast to contain damage
An Evri spokesperson revealed, “Following an investigation, we took immediate action with our delivery partner to remove the couriers in question. We apologise to those affected.”
