Dundee Hit-and-Run: Woman Hurt but Dodges Hospital

A female pedestrian was injured after a collision with a car in Dundee on Friday afternoon. Thankfully, her injuries were not serious enough to require hospital treatment.

The smash happened around 4:15 PM on December 29 on Nethergate, close to the busy Overgate Shopping Centre. Witnesses say a small red car was involved.

Driver Flees After Brief Stop

The female driver of the car initially stopped to check on the woman but then bizarrely sped off without leaving any details.

Police Hunt for Red Car Driver

Police Scotland are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage. They want to track down the hit-and-run driver.

Police Constable Rory Forge said, “Our inquiries into the crash are ongoing, and we would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident.”
