A man in his twenties has been hospitalised following a stabbing incident in Thamesmead. The incident occurred on Titmuss Avenue, just before 7:40 pm on January 4th.
Police and paramedics from the London Ambulance Service were swiftly dispatched to the scene upon receiving reports of the stabbing. They discovered a man in his twenties with injuries consistent with a stabbing.
The injured man was immediately taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Fortunately, his injuries have been assessed as not life-threatening.
Metropolitan Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the stabbing incident. Enquiries are ongoing as authorities work to gather information about the incident.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police provided the following statement: “Police were called at 7.38 pm on Thursday, 4th January to reports of a stabbing in Titmuss Avenue, SE28. Officers attended along with paramedics from the London Ambulance Service. A man in his twenties was taken to the hospital by officers with a stab wound. His injuries were assessed as not life-threatening or life-changing.”
