East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service were mobilised to a kitchen fire in a residential building on Station Street, Lewes, earlier today. The emergency call was received at 12.42 PM, prompting immediate action.

Upon arrival, firefighters encountered smoke spreading across several floors of the flats. Equipped with breathing apparatus, they tackled the blaze to prevent further escalation. Four fire engines and several officers were deployed to manage the situation effectively.
