Police are seeking information from the public to identify a woman after a distressing incident where a child was assaulted in Derby city centre. The assault occurred on St Peter’s Street at approximately 8pm on January 6, where a woman was reported to have punched a child in the stomach.
While the child did not sustain serious physical injuries, the incident has prompted a police investigation. Officers are eager to speak to the woman pictured in connection with the crime. The CCTV footage, though not of the highest quality, displays identifiable features such as the woman’s clothing.
