All lines between Petts Wood and Sevenoaks will be closed. Here’s what you need to know:

  • Paddock Wood Line trains will be retimed and rerouted.
  • Hastings Line trains diverted and won’t stop at Orpington.
  • Bromley South Line trains run only between London Victoria and Bromley South.
  • Grove Park Line trains operate between London Charing Cross and Chislehurst only.

Accessible replacement buses run between Bromley South and Orpington, plus Chislehurst and Sevenoaks.

Sunday Gridlock: Gravesend to Strood Shutdown

On Sunday, engineering works close all lines between Dartford, Gravesend, Strood, and Maidstone West. Passengers face:

  • Highspeed via Gravesend trains run only from London St Pancras International to Ebbsfleet.
  • Sidcup Line services won’t run; diverted trains will add stops at Albany Park.
  • Medway Valley Line trains operate only between Paddock Wood and Maidstone West.

Accessible replacement buses cover routes between Ebbsfleet and Strood, Dartford to Gravesend, Dartford to Gillingham, and Gravesend to Maidstone West.

Other Key Rail Snarls This Sunday

  • No trains between London Victoria and Lewisham: All lines closed. Trains redirected via London Charing Cross. Thameslink services available via Denmark Hill, Peckham Rye, or Nunhead.
  • Buses replace trains between Lewisham and Hayes: No trains on London Charing Cross to Hayes line. Replacement buses run on the route.
  • Dover Priory to Ramsgate line closed: Trains only run between London St Pancras International and Dover. Replacement buses cover stations to Ramsgate via Deal.
