Manchester Man Faces 12 Charges Including Rape and Assault
Mourad Malki from Smedley Road, Manchester, has been charged with 12 serious offences. These include multiple sexual offences such as rape and assault, alongside theft.
He has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court on Wednesday, 24 July 2024.
Police Crack Down Following City Centre Rapes
The charges follow a recent investigation after a man in his 40s was arrested over the weekend. He is suspected of committing four separate rapes in Manchester city centre between February and July 2024.
This major breakthrough comes amid increasing concerns over violent attacks across the city.
