Heartbreak hits County Wicklow as 11-year-old Clodagh Phelan tragically dies after falling from a seventh-floor hotel balcony in Majorca. The accident happened early Monday morning at the Club Mac Hotel in Puerto de Alcudia, where Clodagh was holidaying with her family.

Her hockey club echoed the sorrow, calling her a vital, uplifting part of the team. “Her energy radiated throughout, and she was always eager to help others,” the club said. Her positive spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
