Manchester Rape Suspect E-Fit Released – Police Launch Appeal

Detectives have unveiled a crucial e-fit image of a man wanted over a brutal rape in Manchester city centre last year. The assault happened in the early hours between 4 AM and 5 AM on August 17, 2023, along Deansgate Road.

Police Seek Public Help to Identify Suspect

Officers are urgently calling on anyone who recognises the man in the image to come forward. Detective Constable Rowan, leading the investigation, said: “After gathering witness statements, we have produced an e-fit to help identify the individual involved.”

Despite the time since the attack, the police remain determined to track down the culprit. No arrests have been made yet, but inquiries are ongoing and leads are being actively pursued.

Since the incident was reported in June 2024, authorities have provided full support to the victim. DC Rowan added: “We are committed to moving swiftly to find the person responsible.”
