A person has been hospitalised following a road traffic collision in Woolwich. The incident occurred on Burrage Road, near Crescent Road, just after 2:50pm on Thursday, September 19.
Emergency services, including officers from the Metropolitan Police and crews from the London Ambulance Service, were called to the scene where they discovered one individual injured. The injured person was treated at the scene before being transported to the hospital. Their condition has been assessed as not life-threatening.
A spokesperson for the London Ambulance Service stated: “We were called at 2.52pm on Thursday, 19 September, to reports of a road traffic collision at Crescent Road, Woolwich. We sent resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew and a paramedic in a fast response car. Our crews treated a person at the scene before conveying them to hospital.”
The Metropolitan Police also confirmed the incident, with a spokesperson adding, “Looks like a collision just before 3pm with one person treated for injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.”
The authorities have not yet provided further details regarding the cause of the collision, and the investigation remains ongoing.
