An investigation is underway after a violent stabbing incident left a woman and two young children injured on Friday, October 25. Police were called around 5:35 pm to First Avenue, Dagenham, following reports of multiple individuals suffering stab wounds.
Emergency services, including the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance, responded swiftly. Upon arrival, they found a woman in her 30s and two children – an eight-year-old girl and a two-year-old boy – with stab injuries. All three were transported to the hospital for treatment, where they remain. Thankfully, none of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening.
A man in his 40s was arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder. He was taken to the hospital after becoming unwell, but after a medical assessment, he was discharged and is now in police custody.
