Tragedy at Romford Station: Person Fatally Hit by Train
A grim scene unfolded at Romford Railway Station on South Street early Monday morning. Just after 8:30 a.m. on November 4, 2024, emergency services rushed to the station after a person was struck by a train.
Emergency Crews Rush to Scene
British Transport Police (BTP) and paramedics arrived swiftly, but sadly, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation, with the area now sealed off for inquiries.
Train Services Disrupted
Greater Anglia confirmed train services between Liverpool Street and Shenfield have been suspended due to the fatal accident. The operator urged passengers to expect delays and to allow extra time for their journeys.
