Police Investigate Death of Man Found Collapsed in Chiswick

Officers from the West Area Command Unit, which covers Hounslow, are investigating the unexplained death of a man found collapsed in Chiswick on Sunday morning, 12 January.

Emergency services were called to Sutton Lane North, near Chiswick High Road, at approximately 8:20 am. The man, believed to be 48 years old and reported missing to police the previous day, was taken to the hospital where he later died.

The Metropolitan Police have stated that formal identification is still pending, but the man’s next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.

His death is currently being treated as unexplained, and inquiries are ongoing to determine the circumstances.

Authorities are appealing to anyone with information that could assist the investigation to contact police on 101, quoting CAD 1584/12Jan. Alternatively, anonymous reports can be made via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
