Huddersfield Dealer Busted with £100k of Class A and B Drugs
Joseph Masih, 37, of Birkby, has been locked up for eight years after police swooped on his properties and seized more than £100,000 worth of cocaine and cannabis.
Massive Drug Haul Found in Raids
Leeds Crown Court sentenced Masih on Wednesday, April 5, following his guilty plea to drug offences and possession of criminal property.
Police executed warrants in December 2022 at Masih’s Birkby home and another property he controlled. They uncovered large quantities of class A and B drugs, plus thousands in cash and drug paraphernalia.
Police Praise Crackdown on Organised Crime
“We welcome the sentencing of Masih for drug possession and dealing offences,” said Detective Inspector James Bellhouse of the Kirklees Programme Precision Team.
“The drugs seized could have fuelled serious crime on our streets. Operations like this stop harmful substances reaching our communities.”
Programme Precision is dedicated to tackling organised drug crime in Kirklees. Masih’s bust is just one of many recent successes targeting dealers in the area.
Police Urge Public to Help Fight Drug Crime
