Police have issued an appeal for information after an elderly man was spotted appearing confused and dressed inappropriately for the cold weather in Peelings Lane, Westham, earlier this afternoon (Thursday, February 6).
Concern for Welfare
The man, believed to be around 80 years old, was seen asking a member of the public for directions just before 3:30 pm. Concerned by his disoriented state and unsuitable clothing for the low temperatures, the witness alerted the police.
Last Known Movements
He was later spotted walking past the pond in Westham and heading up Montfort Road.
Description of the Missing Man
- Age: Approximately 80 years old
- Clothing: Grey and white striped sweatshirt, dark-coloured trousers

Officers are urging anyone who may have seen him or knows of his whereabouts to come forward.
