Kent Cop Seriously Hurt Stopping Stolen Bike on Wrong Side of M25

A Kent Police officer suffered serious injuries while trying to stop a stolen motorbike being ridden the wrong way on the M25 near junction 3.

Police Airlifted After Dangerous Chase

The drama unfolded at around 4.05pm on Sunday, 23 January 2022. Multiple reports came in of a stolen bike tearing dangerously along the incorrect carriageway.

Kent Air Ambulance rushed to the scene, airlifting the injured officer to hospital where he remains in serious condition.

Suspect Arrested, Motorway Chaos

A 26-year-old man, caught riding the stolen bike, was arrested on several charges and is currently in custody.

Traffic chaos ensued as junctions 2 to 3 clockwise were closed while police dealt with the incident and treated the officer.
