Man Jailed for Breaking Sexual Harm Prevention Order and Distributing Indecent Images of Children

A 32-year-old man has been sentenced to four and a half years in prison after pleading guilty to multiple offences related to indecent images of children and breaching his Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) while staying in Wiltshire.

Court Sentencing

Jason King, of North Ferriby, North Humberside, was sentenced at Winchester Crown Court on 14 February after admitting to making and distributing indecent images of children, including the most serious Category A content.

King’s crimes took place between November 2023 and May 2024, during which he engaged in disturbing online activities, including sexual communication with a child while staying overnight in Chicklade, Wiltshire. This breach of his Sexual Harm Prevention Order was a key factor in his sentencing.
