The incident began around 11.40pm on Sunday night (March 16), when two suspects reportedly entered a house near Newport Road in Eccleshall, shortly before a grey Volkswagen was stolen from the property.

Vehicles Spotted Travelling in Convoy

Staffordshire Police officers, actively patrolling the area, later spotted the stolen VW travelling in convoy with another car on a dual-carriageway. While the Volkswagen managed to evade capture, the second car was pursued and abandoned by the roadside, prompting a foot chase as two suspects fled the scene.
Further updates will follow as the case progresses.
