Man Stabbed in Tadworth: Police Launch Serious Assault Probe
Stabbing Shakes Tadworth Neighbourhood
Police are investigating after a man in his 30s was stabbed in Tadworth, leaving him injured and needing hospital treatment. Officers rushed to Devizes Road near Beatrice Square at 6.22pm on Tuesday, March 18 following reports of a serious assault.
The South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the scene, treating the victim before he was taken to hospital. Police confirmed he remains in stable condition.
Suspect Arrested – No Wider Threat
A 27-year-old Tadworth man has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. He is now in police custody as enquiries continue.
“We are not looking for anyone else in relation to this incident, and we do not believe there to be any risk to the wider public,” said Surrey Police.
Officers promised to keep a visible presence in the area today to reassure residents.
“We understand the public may be distressed by this incident, and there will be a continued police presence in the area. Please speak to officers if you have any concerns,” the force added.
