Police have confirmed the death of a man in his 50s following an incident on West Wickham High Street on Thursday evening.
Emergency services were called at 7:55pm on 17 April after reports of a concern for welfare. Officers from the Metropolitan Police attended the scene alongside crews from the London Ambulance Service.
Despite efforts from paramedics, the man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
The Metropolitan Police said the death is being treated as unexpected, though it is not believed to be suspicious. The man’s family have been informed.
A file will be prepared for the coroner.
