Man Seriously Injured in Brutal Glass Attack at Trowbridge Sports Bar

A violent assault at a popular Trowbridge venue has left a man fighting for his life. Wiltshire Police are hunting witnesses after the victim suffered a serious head injury when struck with a glass inside Legends Sports Bar in the early hours of Sunday.

Attack Scene and Emergency Response

The shocking incident unfolded just after midnight, around 12.15am on 20 April. The victim was hit over the head with a glass inside Legends Sports Bar, a well-known hotspot in Trowbridge. After the attack, he stumbled out of the bar and collapsed on Castle Street near Market Street junction.

Paramedics rushed to the scene and took the man to hospital where he is currently receiving treatment for his injuries.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

“We are appealing for witnesses following an assault that took place at the Legends Sports Bar, Trowbridge. A man suffered a serious head injury after being struck with a glass and later collapsed outside,” said a Wiltshire Police spokesperson.

Investigation Underway – CCTV and Mobile Footage Sought

The motive behind the brutal assault remains unclear. No arrests have been made yet as police scrutinise CCTV from the bar and nearby streets.

Authorities are also keen to hear from anyone who may have captured footage on their phone or noticed suspicious activity in the area on the night.
