A BMW driver clocked at 95mph in a 70mph zone in Bradford ended his high-speed dash in the worst possible way — by pulling into a dead end while attempting to flee from police.
The driver, who failed to stop when signalled by officers, led police on a short pursuit before making the ill-fated decision to turn into a cul-de-sac.
Upon being stopped, further checks revealed the driver held only a provisional licence and had no insurance. Officers at the scene swiftly detained the individual, seized the vehicle, and issued a report for multiple driving offences.
West Yorkshire Police confirmed the incident on social media, stating: “Excessive speed, no licence, no insurance — and no escape plan. Vehicle seized. Driver reported.”
The incident serves as a reminder of the consequences of reckless driving and the importance of being properly licensed and insured before getting behind the wheel.
