Disposable Vape Ban Hits UK from June 2025 Over Fire Fears and Environmental Damage
UK Bans Single-Use Vapes Amid Safety Scare
Starting 1 June 2025, the UK will outlaw the sale and supply of all single-use vapes. The crackdown comes as authorities battle rising fire incidents linked to these gadgets, alongside worries about youth vaping and environmental harm.
Vape Fires Spark Alarm
Fire services have sounded the alarm on a surge in vape-related fires, mostly caused by unsafe charging habits. Crew Manager Paul Brazier of Braintree Fire Station warns users to be vigilant.
“Never leave a vape charging unattended, and avoid charging them overnight,” said Brazier. “Always use the charger provided with your device and keep it on a hard, flat, non-flammable surface while charging.”
Safety Tips to Dodge Vape Blazes
