Police are appealing for witnesses after a man tragically fell to his death in Soho during the early hours of Saturday, May 3.
Ryley Harbord, 22, died at the scene on Brewer Street despite the best efforts of emergency services. Officers were called to a residential property just after 2am, but sadly Ryley could not be saved.
His death is currently being treated as unexpected, and a police investigation is underway to establish the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
Officers Seek Soho Revellers for Information
Detectives are urging anyone who saw or spoke to Ryley on the evening of Friday, May 2, to come forward. They are particularly keen to hear from people who had contact with him between 7pm Friday and 2am Saturday, as Soho was bustling ahead of the Bank Holiday weekend.
Detective Chief Inspector Anne Linton, leading the investigation, said:
“First and foremost, our thoughts are with Ryley’s family as they come to terms with this tragic loss. This is an unimaginably difficult time for them.
“Soho was busy that evening and there is a good chance someone saw or spoke to Ryley. Even the smallest piece of information could help us build a clear picture of what happened.”
