Three Arrested as Gardaí Target Organised Crime Group Linked to Prostitution

Three men have been arrested after Gardaí carried out major raids targeting an organised crime group suspected of being involved in organised prostitution, money laundering, and drug offences.

More than 100 Gardaí were involved in the large-scale operation, which saw searches conducted this morning at several businesses and residential addresses across Dublin, Kildare, and Meath.

The operation was led by detectives from the Serious Crime Unit based at Bridewell Garda Station, Dublin, and supported by multiple specialist teams including the Dublin Crime Response Team (DCRT), Garda National Protective Services Bureau, Garda National Economic Crime Bureau, Emergency Response Unit (ERU), Armed Support Unit (ASU), and the Garda Dog Unit.

Two men were arrested on foot of court bench warrants, while a third man was detained in relation to the sale and supply of controlled drugs.

A Garda spokesperson said the raids formed part of a broader investigation into organised criminal activities spanning prostitution rings, money laundering networks, and drug trafficking.

The investigation is ongoing, and Gardaí have not ruled out further arrests.
