Emergency services have rushed to Barking Underground Station this morning after a person was reported to be under a train at Platform 6.

Major Emergency Response

Multiple London Fire Brigade units, police, and paramedics from London Ambulance Service responded to the serious incident, with units  deployed within minutes. The status of the person involved is currently unknown.

 

Transport for London (TfL) has confirmed that emergency services are on site and train services are severely disrupted as a result. It’s unclear at this time whether the person was rescued or remains trapped.
