Serious Collision Shuts Down Brownhill Road
Two people were rushed to hospital after a nasty road traffic collision on Brownhill Road, Catford, just after 5pm yesterday evening. The crash near the Stainton Road junction sparked a full emergency response and forced the temporary closure of the busy street.
Three Injured, Two Hospitalised
Emergency crews found three injured at the scene. Paramedics treated all three on-site, but two victims needed further hospital care. Their current conditions have not been disclosed.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 5.03pm on 12 May to reports of a road traffic collision in Brownhill Road, Catford. We sent two ambulance crews, a paramedic in a fast response car, and an incident response officer to the scene. We treated three patients and took two of them to hospital.”
Police Cordon and Rush Hour Traffic Mayhem
The Metropolitan Police arrived quickly, sealing off part of Brownhill Road while emergency teams worked. The crash caused heavy delays during the evening rush hour, leaving commuters stuck in jam-packed traffic.
Witnesses Urged to Come Forward
The Met Police are appealing for anyone who saw the collision or has dashcam footage to contact them immediately on 101.
