Three Arrested After Stolen Car Recovered Near Canterbury – UKNIP

Kent Police have arrested three people after officers recovered a car that had been reported stolen just hours earlier in Canterbury.

The black Honda was taken from the Harbledown area during the early hours of Friday 9 May 2025. Later that same day, it was spotted travelling along the A2 towards Faversham.

The vehicle failed to stop for officers and was seen overtaking at high speed, raising further safety concerns. Officers on patrol in the area were able to intercept and bring the vehicle to a safe stop, successfully recovering the stolen car.

Three people were arrested at the scene:

  • A 53-year-old man, also arrested on suspicion of drug driving and other driving offences

  • A 40-year-old man

  • A 27-year-old woman

All three were arrested on suspicion of vehicle theft and have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
