Man Dies Suddenly in Charlton Park Incident

A man tragically died this morning following a mysterious incident at Maryon Wilson Park, Charlton.

Emergency Called to Maryon Wilson Park

Emergency services rushed to the scene on Thorntree Road just before 8:40am on Tuesday, May 20. Multiple units from the London Ambulance Service were dispatched, including ambulance crews, a fast response paramedic, and an incident response officer.

Life-Saving Attempt Fails

Despite desperate efforts to save him, the man died shortly after treatment at the scene. London Ambulance confirmed:

“We were called at 8.38am this morning (20 May) to reports of an incident in Maryon Wilson Park, Charlton. We sent a number of resources to the scene including an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car and an incident response officer. Despite the efforts of the team to save his life, a patient sadly died at the scene.”
