Paedophile Ryan Perrins Jailed for 7 Years After Sexually Abusing Vulnerable Teen in Maidstone

A convicted sex offender has been locked up for seven years after prey­ing on a vulnerable teenager in Maidstone, Kent.

Ryan Perrins, 35, from Heathorn Street, Maidstone, was sentenced at Maidstone Crown Court on June 6, 2025. He was found guilty of multiple crimes including sexual activity with a child, assault, and drug possession.

Drugs, Abuse and Control: The Sickening Pattern

Kent Police uncovered Perrins’ disturbing scheme that ran from March to October 2023. He supplied cannabis to the teenage girl in exchange for sexual acts. The abuse escalated into violence and coercion.

  • Perrins slammed the victim’s head against a van.
  • He bombarded her with dozens of harassing calls when she tried to escape.
  • Arrested on January 31, 2024, he initially faced drug and assault charges.
  • Further evidence led to four sexual activity charges involving the child.

Though Perrins admitted assault and drug offences, he denied the sexual offences. However, a jury found him guilty on all counts after a thorough trial.

Police Praise Victim’s Bravery Amidst Horrific Abuse

Detective Constable Katy Saunders from Kent Police saluted the victim’s courage in standing up to Perrins:

“Perrins committed vile and coercive acts against a vulnerable girl, treating her as though she was his property. His violence and manipulation caused immense harm, and it is only through the bravery of the victim that we have been able to bring him to justice.”

He was slapped with a 10-year restraining order banning any contact with the victim.
