Man Arrested After Shocking Death of Eight Geese in Dartford

A local man is under investigation after eight geese were found dead in Dartford. Kent Police scrambled to Anchor Boulevard on Sunday, 21 July 2024, at 5:36 PM following reports of the tragic discovery.

19-Year-Old Busted for Animal Cruelty and Driving Offences

After a probe by the Rural Task Force, a 19-year-old from the area was arrested on Thursday, 25 July. He faces charges of animal cruelty and driving without a licence or insurance. Currently released on bail, he must return to court on Friday, 25 October.

Police Urge Witnesses to Speak Up

Sergeant Ross Haybourne spoke out about the case, highlighting the shock rippling through the community. “This was a distressing incident which has caused considerable concern locally,” he said. “We will always investigate deliberate harm to wildlife. Anyone with information should come forward to help our enquiries.”
