PC Dave Sansum, Kent Police’s Drink and Drug Driver Liaison Officer for east Kent, said:

“Patrols use breath and drug testing devices and will routinely stop drivers to keep our roads safe. Over this weekend, 12 people were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. It’s worrying to see so many offenders. Remember, your choices behind the wheel have consequences. Driving after drinking or taking drugs risks your life, others’ lives, and could land you in court.”
