Emergency services have launched a major rescue operation this afternoon after a 13-year-old girl reportedly jumped from Five Arch Bridge on North Cray Road, Sidcup.

The incident happened just before 4pm on Tuesday 1st July 2025  prompting an immediate multi-agency response. It is understood that a child is in the water, with early reports suggesting serious injury—including a bone visible in her leg.

Multiple emergency services have been dispatched to the scene. Details regarding water movement, depth, and the girl’s condition remained unknown at the time. It is not believed a throwline had been used prior to rescue crews arriving.
